Media Committee

The Media Committee is in charge of getting press coverage of ACT UP and teaching ACT UP members how to talk to (or, as Ann Northrop would say, how to talk through) the press.

Members of the Media Committee should meet up with each other before the meeting starts, and also during the meeting when people break up into groups to discuss plans for Target City Hall, to coordinate what everyone will do at Target City Hall. They should look around the Floor and discuss who might be good people to talk to the media at Target City Hall, and then delegate someone from the Media Committee to go up to them (while the meeting is going on) and try to convince them to talk to the media at Target City Hall.
